Don't worry if you're not sure about all the technical details like mesh count—that's what we're here for. We are happy to act as your technical experts and guide you to the right services and materials to make your project a success.
To help us get started on your project quickly and accurately, please have the following details ready for your request:
Type of Job: Let us know if this is for a New Custom Screen or a Screen Re-stretch on a frame you already own.
Frame Details: Let us know if you need a wood or custom aluminum frame and the dimensions you require. If you're providing your own frame for a re-stretch, please provide its measurements. If you're unsure about sizing, we're happy to consult! As a general rule, we recommend the screen's inside dimensions be at least 4 inches wider than your print area on all sides. This helps minimize the risk of a squeegee tearing the mesh during printing.
Mesh Count: Please specify your desired mesh count (e.g., 110, 156, 230). If you're unsure, we can recommend the best option based on your artwork, ink, and printing technique.
Ink Type: Let us know what type of ink you plan to use (e.g., plastisol, water-based, discharge). This is important so we can determine if your screen needs to be hardened or receive special treatment for maximum durability.
Service Level: Please specify if you need:
- Stretching Only: We stretch your desired mesh onto the frame.
- Coating & Exposing: We stretch the screen, coat it with emulsion, and expose it with your artwork, delivering a print-ready screen.
Artwork: If we are exposing your screen, please ensure your artwork is in a print-ready vector format (e.g., AI, EPS) with all text converted to outlines.
